LOCATION

LOGISTICS & OPERATIONS BUREAU HEADQUARTERS

business district

The LOGOPS Bureau Building stands at the pinnacle of a massive, imposing, high-tech complex in the financial heart of Locus City. Its shell gleams with shades of white, purple, and metal, and the veins running through it, carrying dispatchers running to and fro, are straight, clean, and uniform. There is no wasted energy or useless frivolity here.

Its headquarters is technically comprised of three buildings. The center is the core base and the beating heart. To the left, the operations building is presided over by the Operations Supervisor, and to the right, the Technology R&D Supervisor oversees all engineering and special technology. The structures’ many stories are filled with separate divisions all working towards the same goal β€” a seamlessly connected and protected Locus City.

The subsidiary buildings ringing the central bodies are nothing to scoff at either. Every door opens to a new state-of-the-art research facility or observation post. Control rooms full of agents monitoring other dispatchers are a common sight.

PERSONS OF INTEREST

  1. chief executive officer

    ODIN

    he/him

    played by: po

As the current oldest and most established faction head within Locus City, Odin has watched over the falls of the leaders before him and the rises of the new ones. He acts not only as the stalwart head of LOGOPS but the unofficial senior to many powerful characters around him.

In his early years, Odin’s character was strict, cold, and militant. With a fierce drive for enforcing the betterment of the city and a focus on supporting new expeditions, he was quickly recruited to the Clementbox, then moved to the Logistics & Operations Bureau to expand his range of control over fieldwork. The change in environment mellowed his personality somewhat as he focused on the silent but critical work of keeping the city running.

When the previous Archangel announced his resignation, a significant percentage of the population’s eyes were on Odin to potentially become the new leader of the Clementbox. Though another was promoted to the position, Odin still keeps a close relationship with the current Archangel and the Clementbox in general.

  2. chief of staff

    NOAH VASILE

    he/him

    played by: po

Odin’s son and the current most likely candidate to succeed him as the head of LOGOPS.

As the eldest of the family, Noah was raised by his diligent and dutiful mother and grandparents to fulfill the role of an β€˜ideal family member’. His father stepped mainly into the role of discipline, believing that strictness would make Noah into a strong and worthy young leader who could carry on their traditions.

Even his looks reflect the maturity he was required to develop as a young man and the sense of responsibility instilled in him by his lineage. To most, especially those who work with him, he appears to be a gentle, well-mannered child who’s devoted to his household’s mission…

… but outside of that, he is simply another man exhausted by the expectations of his family.

  3. chief human resource officer

    YULIN

    he/him

    played by: rogue

A well-off young man with a periodically childish personality. He can often be found slacking off and playing with a large assortment of high-tech toys… but, somehow, the work keeps getting done anyways.

His hobbies include purposefully riling people up and insect-keeping at home. His cheerfulness and natural curiosity allow him to find out more information than he likely should have.

Yulin's family and the Vasile family have a strong camaraderie, built over years of friendship and mutual support. As a result, he has always been in close proximity to the Logistics & Operations Bureau.

Despite his childish antics, his latent potential and true capabilities were recognized by Odin, and he was personally recruited to lead the Logistics & Operations Bureau’s HR department.

  4. operations supervisor

    YIRAN WU

    she/her

    played by: po

Yiran may be a familiar sight to older members of the Neighborhood Watch, having worked in the faction for nearly 2 decades… though she looked a little different then, as the fearsome combatant nicknamed the Black Knight of the Watch, famed for her unparalleled strength in combat against Echoes.

Nowadays, she uses her on-the-ground experience with the WATCH in her position as LOGOPS’s Operations Supervisor. She oversees all external expeditions and explorative ventures in the dangerous unknown outside Locus City.

She prefers to focus on the whimsical upsides of life and believes that everyone deserves a second β€” and further β€” chance to become a better person.

  5. technology r&d supervisor

    WILHELM CONRAD

    he/him

    played by: po

A strict, upright middle-aged man. At first meeting he might seem overly efficient β€” often to the point of being cold β€” but extended work with Wilhelm will reveal slivers of warmth and care, especially when it comes to helping people.

He worked in the Celadon Medical Cooperative’s Radiology department for 20 years before transferring to the Logistics and Operations Bureau. Even as a LOGOPS employee, his focus remains the treatment of Heart and Echo-related sicknesses β€” his method of doing so has simply shifted to practicing engineering instead of medical care.
